12 months. 12 dinner parties. Over 100 recipes. Our Place’s debut cookbook is all about bringing people together, celebrating cultures, and cultivating connections. I partnered with our creative leads to create this cookbook from start to finish- from the concept, curation of contributors, to refining chapters, to shooting. Our contributors come from a variety of backgrounds from home cooks to restauranteurs to food artists, covering cuisines from all corners of the world.

We asked the contributors to share the dinner party they are most known for among their friends and family. These are not the recipes that made them famous, but rather intimate snapshots of how we cook and gather in the home. Each chapter includes everything you need to imitate their dinner parties on your own: menu plans and recipes, grocery lists and sourcing guides, playlists and conversation starters. From December hot pot to a sensorial group Valentine’s to spooky stoop hangs in October, this book is overflowing with personality and tools to enable gathering.
